Saturday, Feb. 10, teachers, school staff, volunteers (husbands!), Ruritans, and your Conservation staffer, lopped limbs, spread mulch and cleared the new Sandy Run School Nature Trail. Fred Gantt, CCSWCD Chairman, brought his monster machine out on Friday and blazed the trail making it much easier for us! We had a great turnout which made it fun and quick!

We have more work to do but we hope for a ribbon cutting in April to celebrate Earth Day! Will keep you posted!
