20 Spider hunters, including me, had great fun at SC Wildlife Federation's September Spider workshop at Goodale State Park in Kershaw County. With expert Austin Jenkins guidance, we identified 25 species of spiders from orb weavers to jumping to spiny backed and even the common house spider! Many Master Naturalists were on the course, so we also found some other interesting animals. I'm busy planning a lesson on spiders for our students!
