Last week Melissa, Bee Keeper, and Mary, District Coordinator, visited St M K8 to read THE THING ABOUT BEES by Shabazz Larkin to 3 classes of kindergarteners. The students learned how to avoid a bee sting and why bees are so important. We also got to taste real honey!
Several students suggested we bring biscuits for honey tasting next time- very smart and duly noted!
