May 3 was a beautiful day at Sandy Run School. 48 3rd graders read the book, WHAT IT MEANS TO BE GREEN, and picked up litter on their school playground- a LOT of litter and they were diligent about it!
Next Mrs. Shuler's 4th to 6th grade classes planted many vegetables in the school garden and helped 1st, 2nd, 3rd and kindergarten classes to dig, plant, and water. We got wet and dirty and enjoyed every minute.
